Written by Back to the silliness now and over to another sport which, like Rugby, doesn’t really need an excuse for a punch-up. Step forward ice hockey, a game which moves so fast I suspect the existence of the puck is actually an enormous hoax and the players are just sliding around waving their sticks randomly. They do like a fight every now and again though.
Let’s head up to Latvia first – love the aftermath of this one, sticks and items of clothing strewn all over the place.
This is what it’s all about, no pretense that anyone wants to play hockey. A few seconds in and wallop everyone’s fighting someone.
Here’s a good’un, they start ‘em early in Russia. It almost calms down after 20 seconds but fortunately all kicks off again.
Lastly, these two should actually be embarrassed to call themselves ice hockey players – an insult to the teams involved, the league and Canadians in general. Hang you heads in shame gentlemen. Sorry about the music……
